also when u reload the OS you'll need to reset the SID memory through the 
SYSTEM menu first before trying to upload the SID patch banks, usually works 
perfectly and reduces any chance of corrupted data this way. I used a basic MIDI 
and sent the sysEX through MIDI OX, took only a few minutes, and saved me a 
huge headache. :D
