Favorite fonction OS 1.19 / update wishlist ?

2004-06-30 by onosendai

- I love the new DJ tempo set, it's very easy now to play live with the MD

- Mini star is very good point, but it will be more nice if we could see
witch pattern use a kit. I expain : i have to erase some kit because i have
reach the limit. But i don't want to crash a good pattern i have forgoten !
If we could see witch pattern use kit, it will be easy to search and destroy
pattern we don't want...

- And the very good one : the relative change ! We can do crazy things now

What do you think about update the wish list now for a future OS ?

Bye

Re: [elektron] OS 1.19 / HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the short version:

Windows: grab MIDI-OX
Mac: grab Sysex librarian

- load the new OS file into the program
- connect your machine to your MD
- power up the MD with function held down
- select option 4 (MIDI upgrade) on the MD
- press play in the sysex transfer program you used

that's the basic overview.... but if you need more details, just let me
know. :-)

good luck!
Joe

I've completely lost my mind

2004-06-30 by Damon Menne

Okay, I've completely lost my mind. This new Machinedrum update has me
almost insane with some of the percussion layering control we have
now... I'm just flabberghasted.

So, what's caused me to go almost completely insane is this: Is it not
reasonable to expect these machines to show up in the Mono?

*brrrrnnnnnnnnnt!* *zot*

Yeah, there goes another hundred synapse. I gotta stop thinking about
the possibilities of *that* one....*zot* *zot*

it's already there, man - joystick! :-)

no, it would be great to see some of the other features (just to keep
the two consistent in their OS's right? :-) in the Mono. but I'd be
less
willing to dedicate a track to a CTR machine when I've only got
six available. it'd be better if the MIDI machines could do that
instead!

Yes, it would, midi machines is a much better place for this...

And the joystick sort of does it, but eight knobs > 1 joystick for
me... I'm more of a knob tweaker than a joystick stroker if ya catch my
drift... *wink*
