bug in MD OS1.19?

2004-06-30 by buzzard2uk

Hi,

I think i've uncovered in bug in the new MD OS, try setting different accent, swing and
slide on different tracks then try coping that pattern to a new place, the settings for
accent, swing and slide DO NOT copy over

anybody else get this?

I don't think they get saved in the pattern the same way. If I
remember right, they were like that in the earlier version. Maybe
they should be. That's a good idea.

This is also my chance to comment on what I think about the OS.
The opening of these parameters to different tracks is great. Try
some Slide on an EFM HH. I was getting near theremin sounds from
it. The ctr-all function is great especially for filter distortion
delay and reverb.

I think now I'm going to approach kits differently. I also think
there are going to be some much different sounds made.

I think the Swing SLide Accent per track and control pages are a god
send. Something I've wanted for a while. Excellent.

I do have a problem with the control pages a but. It would be nice
to hold function and change the menu instead of getting the LFO
menu. But you could just load the control all machine anyway. Not
much of a problem. The other bad problem is hitting the clear
button while using the function+control all thing. I did that
yesterday, but no fear you have undo clear. Still wouldn't be nice
in a live setting.

That's it for now. I'm too tired at work...

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
