Monomachine Automatic saving.

Hi. New owner of a mono and have an annoyin' problem. Any 
modification i do in a pattern gets saved automatically. I'm loosin 
my favourite patterns each time i experiment with something. Can 
anybody help me??????????

This is the way of the mono. Copy the original pattern, paste it into a 
new location and experiment with it in the new location.

Are you sure of that? In manuals wrote you can experiment all you 
want, cos the presen won't get definitely modified unless you save 
the pattern. The way you told me suposes to save the same pattern in 
different places EVERY time i do a minor modification.
Are you completely sure?

no he's right. look in the menu. there's no notion of saving a pattern; 
only
saving kits and songs. so any changes you make to a pattern (whether in
step or realtime record mode) do get saved automatically.

I'd wager that in the manual they are talking about the _kits_, not the 
patterns.

Yup. This is the way of the mono, and the machinedrum before that. All 
_pattern_ changes are saved instantly, any tweaks to the kit must be saved 
explicitly.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
