MD Help!

I have a MachineDrum and a PowerBook G4 and I am wondering if there is
available software that can be used to record the sounds so that I can edit
them in Peak.

I have the same thing. I have various software all of which are free.
You should also check out macmusic.org for all of your mac problems.

This is all free that I'm listing. Get Soundsource so you can change
your sound settings easily, this should be included in all mac OS imo.
If you don't have a audio interface you can use LineIn to just plug
your audio into the input and record. You can record with programs
like Audacity, Audio In, or Audio Recorder.

Basically you don't have to buy anything to record on a mac. The only
thing you might need is a usb midi interface. Although the quality is
not professional, it works fine.

And yea, can't you record with peak?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
