Which output is the BD routed to?

I did with both the MnM and the MD but it turned out to be
my soundcard. with a different card, they're within .03 dB
of eachother (or so). maybe you should try it with a different
card or at a friend's house or something?

I have this 'problem' too. It's caused by ageing mainvolumeknob. You
can see it if you twist the main knob and the stereofield twists a
little. I would say it is not practical problem, it is just something
you see with the excellent digicheck program which comes with Rme-
soundcards (I use it too). You'll see this with other machines too,
if you route them to mainout. If you route anything to any other
output than main, they will be straight (because signal is mono).

Let me get this straight. You're saying it's because of the aging
main volume knob on the MD will change the stereo field as you turn
it? Yet the stereo field twists very little, but it is not really
noticable except with precise digital sensors?

Thats what I'm saying. Hide your digital sensor and it doesn't
exist. :)
