...that was being created by (i think) a german gentleman? it has a synth section, a sampling section, and a sequencer section. you can sample whatever you are creating at the moment, too. costs a pretty penny, but looks well worth it if you've got the $ and that's what you need. i was curious as to its status/website/etc. thanks! wendell.

sorry-- the reason i'm asking here is because there was mention of it a few months back but i can't find it in the message archive search (if i knew what to enter into the groups' search field i'd probably be able to find the synth's website!) thanks, wendell.

Was it the Spectralis? Info at: http://www.spectralis.de/english/english.html SPECTRALIS - HYBRID GROOVEBOX The Spectralis is the first "GrooveBox", which combines the LIVE usability of the latest digital technology with the best elements of proven analog technology. We also have thrown in some other cool features which give the synthesizer much more flexibility than anything seen before. While traditional Sequencers are limited to playing back rhythm patterns and tone sequences, the step Sequencer of the SPECTRALIS makes possible highly complex sound creations which opens up completely new worlds of sound when used in connection with the programmable FIXED FILTER BANK. In addition to its outstanding analog sound possibilities the SPECTRALIS also provides DSP based sound creation, which takes care of all the ancillary needs for drumsounds and polyphonic voices. This sound creation is 48 voice and offers killer drum sounds, creamy pads and a lot of other goodies. i don't think it's released yet. i am a machinedrum owner, but won't have the $ anytime in the near or distant future for the spectralis. but i can dream! the machinedrum is quite the masterpiece in and of itself. --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, Paul Love <paul10love@c...> wrote: > HOW MUCH IS HIS THING FROM RADIKAL TECHNOLOGIES? are you a machine drum
