routing md into live4.03 via 828 mkII

would someone be kind enough to run me through the most basic-basics here? i had the md running fine in previous versions of live. recently i had to unplug everything on the 828 and i cannot seem to get it configured again....it has been a good long while since i had to do this.... thanks, j.
