Re: [emax] Emax I HD SE booting from an Internal Zip Drive..possible?

Well then Ill make sure I won't 'play the 'breathing in fumes ' mix of Stripped by DM -or snort lines of coke on top of my PCD when it arrives, Jammie...Sure! it might be hip in keeping with John Delorean, mid 80's Nostalgia but I don't want to even risk 'whiffing' any of those toxic PCB's from the PCD!
Cheers

From what I have seen, all internal Iomega SCSI ZIP drives can either be set to ID 6 or 7 but not 0. Now, I have seen on Youtube where this guy put a ZIP drive in his Emax

This tells me it isn't a matter of a bad floppy DD alignment in my EMAX I (The FDD is not the ONLY thing it will not see, anyway) for if that were the case (No offense to Jammie's theory, it's a good one nonetheless!) the Emax I formatted disks would not check out fine, nor be able to be read by the Win95 system here at work. IE: EMX would see the disks as bad, too.
