RE: Regarding Floppy Drives

NEC FD 1035
Mitsubishi MF353B-12 UJ or MF353BA–12U
Sony MP-F63W-00D
Epson SMD-380 (340 should work as well I believe)
Shugart SA300
Epson SPM-3924
Panasonic JU324
Panasonic JU364
Panasonic JU254
TEAC FD-35E-02-U
NEC ND-352TH-A
Panasonic JU-253-243P
But good luck finding them for a reasonable price. They're old and more are breaking every day, which is why everyone keeps suggesting other solutions like HxC or slim floppy.
The other "true" floppy drive solutions are too numerous to name by part number, and require patience and know-how that, if you don't already possess, are generally not worth the investment, with the possible exception of the TEAC FD235HF series (of which there are MANY different versions). But the 235HF series varies widely and STILL requires specific settings to work, so is not a "drop-in" replacement, per se.
Buying a new drive that has been pre-modded is also an option, but generally people go with the HxC / slim floppy option instead because of the similar price bracket and higher performance.
I don't know the slim floppy part numbers, but I'm sure if you reference previous Jammie posts then you could easily find out, as she's been quite kind enough to offer her extensive knowledge many times here before.
