Emax

emax2 does not play the sample presets like emax1 as it has digital filters 

a lot of the emax1 library  was from the EII library converted in sd2 and then dumped via the rs port 
in fact most of the libraries for emu was done on a mac and sd2 at 16bits then dumped

via the rs port or scsi for the EIII

  with emxp you can convert to eiii and eiiix format

  both formats can be read by eultra samplers and emulatorx

    Did you mean besides the emax2? I believe the emax 2 is the only other sampler compatible with the emax 1

      I have been looking for a used emax 1 rack unsuccessfully, so now looking to see if there are options.
