I was actually asking for the SCSI version, sorry to post in wrong topic... And thanks for your answer, helped alot! Slowly all things are starting to get clearer regarding my EMAX.. ;)

As long as you can set the internal Zip to SCSI Device 0 when your SCSI HDD is not present, then you can boot from SCSI.In my case I have modded my Emax to have external SCSI w/ an external Zip Drive which can only be set to SCSI Device ID 5 or 6. So I must still boot the Emax Plus 1.0 OS from the FDD because SCSI Device ID 0 is needed to be present in order to boot via SCSI.Once booted then I can load banks from any SCSI by setting the Emax SCSI ID to read Device ID 5 or 6 for my external Zip drive by pressing the Transpose and then the number pad buttons to select.Hope that helps.
