Hi Colin Thanks to you and everybody else who is trying to help me out here. Yes, I've changed the jumpersettings on the hd so that the EIII can see that the scsi id on the drive has changed. I can also see when the EIII scans through from 0 to 7 and that the id on the hd has changed. I've been e-mail corresponding with the very helpfull and skilled guy Rob from emulatorarchive along with you in this group. we haven't come up with anything concrete yet but we are now focusing on the boot rom version 1.0. Maybe a boot rom version 2.0 will help but that mean that 2 new proms are going to be programed. That's for the moment too hardcore for me. I've been ill for a couple of days, that's why I haven't been replying. But now I'm fit for fight again :) Best regards Brian --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, "Colin Ross" <colin.a.ross@b...> wrote: > Hi Brian > Did you change the jumper settings?. I will have to check if there's a auto detect on the EIII and get back to you. Have you tried contacting Rob on the Emu Archive site? He's the man who can really guide you. > Cheers, > > Colin > ----- Original Message ----- > From: brian_ronn <brian_ronn@y...> > To: emax@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Tuesday, February 18, 2003 12:33 PM > Subject: [emax] Re: EIII harddisk boot problem > > > I've tried to set the HD to ID 1 and 4 without any boot success.
