AW: [emax] CD150

2003-03-10 by Dr.-Ing. Christian Gritzner

Hi Josue,

thanks for your reply!!! I havn't tried what you plan to test (first the CD
player then the ZIP drive in the SCSI line...). I will tell you if it will
work. My brother told me to open the CD drive, because maybe there is a
loose contact from sending it via postal mail - so I will check as well all
the connectors.

Thanks and best wishes,
Chris

  Dear Chris,

I'm trying to make it work but it has been impossible. The only choice
I still have is to try it with a different termination. I will
install the CD150 in the middle of the SCSI chain with the IOMEGA ZIP
250 as the chain ending and SCSI number, six (6). I
will try it between 2 and 5 with the CD150. Previosly, I tried it with
only the CD150, with a pasive termination (it does exist an
active termination but I haven't found the info about if the CD150 use
an active or a pasive termination, because both are
  differents).

  Josue
