Ah, bollocks.  Mine is indeed 2M.  Presumably then, the extra sockets
are for using something like 4464 DRAMs instead of the 44256s that are
fitted.  And I'd guess that the daughterboards are no longer available? 
If you can get hold of a set of PALs and a daughterboard (you need to
change the PALs, don't you?  I remember someone saying that) then I can
probably copy them.
