Emax

Press the Master button. When in the Master menu, press 0 and then Enter, 
then move the data slider all the way to the top. Your software revision 
will then be displayed. To access Bird Run, while in the Master menu press 7 
and then Enter.

For information on updating, check out http://www.emulatorarchive.com. 1.1 
is the latest Software Revision.
