just wanted to add this. was thinking and maybe the program never worked because i used it in the dos shell window? and the machine i have is the se model w/o the hd, how hard is it to add a hd to the machine. or is it just not worth it these days expacally since i use a laptop a ableton live already. i also think my disk drive is going bad, are they had to replace? what kind is needed? and while i'm on disk what kind is the proper kind to use? SD or DD. so to be so full of questions but i just pulled this machine out of moth ball and was mainly using it as a controller but like the sounds it had in it and some really fit into what i'm doing currently. i'm also going through the archives so please dont think i'm one of those people who ask ask ask and never look. --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, "plaztikjezuz" <plastic_jesus_@h...> wrote: > hello, > new to the grp, i have a emax se, had it for a couple of years. > i used to use it a lot but it few tot he wayside when i got a laptop. > well now i have found my old disks and booted up a couple of the > factory disks and they sound killer. > my problem is i was never able to get any of the factory disks i d/l > to work right in the machine. i used a pc based program the used dos. > i now have both platforms mac or pc so i looking for a program that > can put the factory disks on 3.5 for me. > > thanks > > scotto
