Emax

Hi,
Nice to see an Emax non-SE working with a ZIP100.
It may be having problems booting from a disk that has not spun up and is
ready in time. The Emax II cycles round the SCSI ids looking for a drive to
be ready but the Emax HD OS probably expects the drive to be ready faster
than a ZIP can spin up.

  More testing done today. I got it to format and save and load
  banks...to/from the zip. I cannot get the Emax to boot from the zip.
  Anyone got any ideas on this? As before stated, I have tried
  different termination, and the SCSI ID is at 0. With just no floppy
  in the drive...the screen reads "please insert disk". When I unhook
  the floppy... the system just hangs. Any help in this matter would be
  appreciated.

  BTW: The Emax formats zips super fast. I thought it wasnt formatting
  at all....but wow. I also tried the Plus OS and I got a "Wrong
  Software" message so... it seems my earlier assumptions about needing
  the SE software to use it was correct.
