That very well could have something to do with it. My logic says that if it can boot from zip on the SE you should be able to on the HD as well. I would think booting would be more a hardware than a software issue. At any rate.. im in the process of replacing my internal hard drive. Im thinking I can boot from there... then use the zip for its load and save capabilities. It will take a mod and be a slight inconvienence but...it will work for now until I get this issue worked out. Thanks for all the help so far.
