New member - Initial EMAX Q? + advice

2003-12-30 by Luke Fowler

Hallo there

re: Nope there isn't a way it's all proprietary. Unless your model already
had a hard drive
(which you could then modify it to support an external Zip)

How would I know if my model had a Hard drive in the past?
Other than that...
Thanks very much for yr advice. The Emax is ofcourse is not my only sampling
tool - I have a PC and a Delta - so I am in no shortage of hard disk
sampling space, the emax is great at what it does - which is for throwing up
ideas with the filters and arpeggiator. It throws up results which fondly
reminds me of some of the Emulator work on 80's Residents LPs and for that I
am thankful. Also a nice tool for playing live and jamming with other
musicians. I would like to hear how the digital filters compare on the EMAX
2 maybe one day I find one of them cheap too? For now, so long,
long live digital/analog sampling!
Best
luke
