An external drive has to be terminated or the SCSI chain won't work.

Try this company for replacement LCD backlight: http://www.telesisgear.com though if I
remember their prices might have seemed a little high. I thought Emulator Archive had
some information on replacing LCD's as well.

So neither the Pitch Bend or the Right Wheel work under any of the assignments? My
guess is either you've got the ribbon cable plugged in incorrectly, or something else is
fried.
