Not sure how Rob's answer wasn't what you were looking for so I'll take a go at it.
No one has reported back as to whether they have been able to upgrade an Emax of
any model to SE with Carsten's image. Though the utility to make the upgrade disk is in
the Files section, the actual disk image is not. Carsten are you going to upload that as
well?
AFAIK. the SE Upgrade disk works on both HD and Non-HD versions, once the upgrade
is complete and you reboot your Emax you would have to make sure that you have the
correct SE OS for it to boot off of. I've never seen mention of both a SE HD Upgrade
disk and a separate SE only Upgrade disk.
So if the upgrade image actually works (still waiting to hear back from other the people
who were going to try) then the answer to your question would be Yes. An Emax HD
would become an Emax SE HD and from there you could move up to Emax SE HD Plus
by simply switching to the Plus OS.
Does that answer it for you?
