Aren't there some emax's that you can't upgrade?

  Hello there,
After another 4 hours of problem solving I still haven't cracked it!

How hard can this be! I am starting to think now that I would rather
pay a list user that has cracked it to make me a emax disk than waste
anymore time but just incase I am doing something really dumb and
obvious - or if this is of any help to others:

here is 2 methods I tried - both failed:
  1st attempt *Disk method.
  1. formatted disks on emax, put emaxutil + setup.em1 on Dos formatted
  disks.
  2. took to Win 3.1 PC. and quit win to DOS.
  3. loaded emaxutil disk and read setup.em1
  4. then tried to write to emax format disk
Result: Emaxutils could not write image to disk - file not read.

  2nd attempt. HD method.
  1. as instructions said, transferred both emaxutil + seup to C: drive
  2. exited win 3.1 to dos and loaded emaxutils.
  3. write seup.em1 to disk - goes through process this time! writing
to 90 (or something) with head counter fluctuating between 0 + 1. No
error messages, when done flips back to emaxutils title screen.
Result: after burning 3 versions of Seup.em1 and blissdsk just to
check, all disks resulted in same failure when put into emax
(coughed, spluttered and flashed lights:loading software but nothing
  happens??)

Any HELP? Or can someone in the UK just send me a disk PLEASE!
(can pay for it - am losing patience quickly for DIY method)

  Thanks a lot,
  Luke
