Can't vouch for the Emax 1, but the Emax II works perfectly well with the Zip 250
running 100mb disks.

  I can't answer that question personally. Rob at Emulator Archive will hopefull respond to 
  it. I've heard that Zip plus drives don't work with the Emax or Emax II because the have 
  a power save mode they go into and if I remember right they require a computer to 
  change the SCSI ID's as well. If the 250 has the same "modern" features it wouldn't 
  work.
