Subject: [emax] Emax Boot Problem
I have an old Emax 2. My problem is that I decided to try to install an internal SCSI Hard
drive. Once inside, I saw that there was no drive holder inside my unit. To get a metal
plate made or maybe a plexi one, I decided to wait. So, I put everything back, but now
when I try to boot, I get a nasty "eeeeeeeeee" sound, coming from the floppy. Lots of light
are on, but nothing is happening with the floppy drive. Nothing on the LCD.
....now everything is out! No sound nor light. It's basically dead.
Obviously, I did something wrong. I just wanna know if I can correct it myself, before I
send it in for service.
Peace.
