Hi
You should try and open the Emax II up again and check for any loose seatings in the cables (disconnect the cables and connect them again) and apply a slight preassure on all chips. The Emax II is known for it's temperament when it has been opened up.
I hope that's the case for you.
Best regards

Hi all, ( my first post )
I got some similar problems...(lights on on front panel, no screen,
clicking...not healthy
signs) after I tried (unsuccessfully) plugging my Emax 2 internal
SCSI into my Mac to try to
xfer file samples from the Emax. I must have plugged the cables into
the board sockets
the wrong way round. I thought I must have blown something but I
fiddled till it worked
again. It seems ok now.
