Emax

Hi,

Just a short message to inform you that during the past few weeks I've 
been working on that EMAX librarian PC-software I announced a few 
messages ago. 
It's going to be a PC-program that:
- can be started from an HTML 'EMAX Librarian' page
- will scan all emax1- and emax2-disk images on its directory (images 
must have been created with the EMX program)
- will make a set of (hyperlinked) HTML pages containing all parameter 
settings of all presets, voices and samples in each bank
- will make .WAV files of all samples 

The software is not finished yet but things are going pretty well. 
The EMAX 1/EMAX 2 disk image parser is ready, as is the core HTML 
report generator. But the whole thing needs some further refinement 
and - of course - some basic testing before I release it to the group.

I think an "alpha" version will be released to the files section of 
this group within 1 - 3 weeks (probably 3 :-). That version will not be 
bug-free (I think) and will not be able yet to report Sequencer 
information and Spectrum Synthesis information.

A last note: the core software will be a small DOS program but don't 
panic: you won't have to use DOS ! Everything can be done from within a 
web browser...
