Re: Emax SE HD OS problem

2006-04-26 by brainztain

I have a very similar problem. I picked up an emax hd keyboard.
Everything turns on but I can't get it to boot.

This is what I've tried:

Making two os disks (emax hd and emax hd se, just in case) under dos
6.22 using emx.

Result: disk not formatted/loading software (stuck)

I also used emxp and a different drive ( fd-23hf with id set to 0 )
both for formatting from a computer and then for booting from the
emax... nothing.

Result: loading software (stuck)

I tried pushing the chips and pulling on them a little just to make
sure there were no old/bad connections. I also reconnected all the
cables... nothing

Result: loading software STUCK!!!!

Does anybody have any suggestions of what to do? BTW, I tried both
ds/dd and hd floppies.
