Youhave to boot from floppy or the HD ID 0 to boot automatically. THe Emax always boots with ID set to zero, so you need ot boot, then change it to what your zip is set at, everytime you switch it on.
I'm not sure anyone's been able to boot from a zip, but if it is set to ID zero it might happen.

PS:
My Internal ZIP would will not allow me to set the ID to O which (i
think) is the default setting on the Emax.
Will i need to first boot the Emax from floppy with a HD SE Plus OS
to set the ID to 1 (My ZIP 100 is set to 1) in order to bring it up?
Where is this setting stored? On the a Memory chip on the mainboard?
Or is it a case where the HD OS Plus automatically checks for
Devices on all ID's.
Thanks a lot,
D
