No problem,

But I think it is worth keeping the FLoppy drive even with the HD, as the Emax HD's aren't reliable. They store info alright, but as they get old they can have problems spinning up. Mine does this from time to time and I literally punch the front panel to jump start the HD spin. :)

If some other HD problem happened the internal zip would be useless, but the floppy would let you get on with things.

  OK That explains a lot.

So basically swapping the floppy for a internal ZIP drive is a
myth !! The only way really would be having harddisk and Internal
zip drive connected to the SCSI Bus... HD at ID0 and the zip at
whatever. That way the emax would be able to boot up from internal
Harddisk at ID0. I will go for the external ZIP option and get a
fresh Floppy drive to boot from.

  Thanks elmacaco !!

  D

THe Emax always boots with ID set to zero, so you need ot boot, then
change it to what your zip is set at, everytime you switch it on.
