Re: ZIP100, Disk2File and SCSI

2006-05-16 by jhnonnenmacher

First, Hi to All, new Member here!
Secondly, to Dawid:
Using an internal ZIP100 as the boot Drive isn't a Myth at all.
At least my Drive (Z100SI) works a treat.
To set it to SCSI ID0: Remove all three adressing Jumpers.
Here's the Procedure I got it work:
1. Set the ZIP to any ID except 0.
2. Boot Emax with OS Plus from Floppy.
3. Use the Transpose Button to select the same ID the ZIP is set to.
4. Format the ZIP.
5. Set the ZIP to ID0.
Now Emax will boot from ZIP.

Greetings, Henning
