Well no, I'm not :-) I'm having trouble with the development of the new EMXP version, the code is becoming very complex due to (some small) differences between the specs of EMAX banks on floppy disks and EMAX banks on zip disks. That's why the release has some delay. I still hope that a beta version will be ready before my holiday (mid june)... Anyway: I've put that small backup/restore program for Emax ZIP-100 disks in the files section: http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/emax/files/EMXP/ Note that I have only tested this with ZIP disks on an EMAX-II sampler. So be careful the first time you use it on an EMAX (SE/HD/Plus) - Try it first. By the way: the program does not support ZIP250 disks and it does not verify if the ZIP100 disk is really an EMAX disk. As I said: it's just a very simple program. But it works from the commandline of Windows XP ! In fact, it only works in Windows XP. Hope it helps. ///E-Synthesist --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, "dawid_marciniak" <dawid.marciniak@...> wrote: > > E-Synthesist, Youre a Genius !!!! > Looking forward to EMXP, does that Zip backup program work in WinXP > command line? > > Regards, > D > > --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, "esynthesist" <esynthesist@> wrote: > > > > I've never tried Disk2File but it's no problem at all to create > > backups of Emax ZIP images on PC and restoring them to EMAX Zip > disks > > again. > > I'm using a very small self-made C-program for that purpose.
