For the CD-Rom you are going to need dos drivers from the manufacturer. I don't understand why you can't change to the C drive from your boot disk. From the A prompt all you should need to do is type in "cd c:\" without quotes and the A:\ prompt should turn into a C:\ prompt. from there you do "cd emx" no quotes again.
