Drum - to - MIDI triggers are working in that way, that you don´t have a MIDI Note-off, this means, that you have to make longer the release of your samples VCA inside the Emax to hear the full sound. As I am user of the Emax2 with plenty experience of Drum triggers, I think, it´s just like this. Try this VCA settings: A 0 H 0 D 32 S 0 R 22 or if necessary, the release longer. Hope that helps. Let me know how it works. Hey guys, I am trying to set up my Emax so that when I press a pad on my Alesis HR-16, I hear a drum tone from the Emax. Currently, I am hearing just a very short portion of the drum sample. I had the sum trouble with my Ensoniq EPS, and was able to remedy this using a special 'percussion' envelope setting. I assume that a similar solution is available on the Emax 1, but I am not too familiar with the unit. Could someone please describe the process which I would have to go through to make this happen? Thanks! - Peter [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
