If it's a SE unit wouldn't it already be upgraded? just need SE os and you should have those functions.

  Elmacaco,
You are right. There is no wide SCSI connector present. So this unit does not have SCSI interface. So I only need to upgrade from Emax 3.2 to SE. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the SE upgrade file to work. I must be doing something wrong.
I have DOS 5.xx and have downloaded both EMAX and EMAXUTIL loaded them both on the DOS box. I have downloaded SEUP.EM1 and successfully wrote to a floppy format in the EMAX DOS program. I have done everything step by step, but when I boot the disk on the EMAX machine itself, nothing happens. I'm missing something.

the regular emax has a small blue connector that isn't scsi but some rs-232 connector or something, If you have a wide scsi connector on it then I'd love to see a pic.

This list's files sectionn has everything you need to make a plus OS disk. Thanks to E synthesist!!!

  Peter,
Yes. I need a copy. I just scored an SE rack with the blue SCSI
connector on the back. I believe the Plus OS would be required at
some point before I could use the SCSI features.
I'm not sure if it has the most current SE update loaded or not. If
not , I have to keep trying to update it via the seup.em1 file. So
far, I have tried evrything with no luck to upgrade to SE.
Do I pay you via PAYPAL?
