If I were you, I would stop messing around with it until I get my hands on a disk. All you need is one disk to get started. Your floppy is probably 100% okay. If you are uncertain about what you are doing, you could damage that floppy drive and they could be expensive whenever you find one. I could send you one but unfortunately I am going on a business trip early tomorrow morning for a few days and I just received word that I have lost family member back in Detroit, so I am in high gear trying to prepare myself.
