LOL this reminds me of a show I played last year. It was outdoors in a
park so isolated the only power supply for us was a gas powered
generator. If I was clever and and did industrial I could have cleverly
added the sound of the motor into the set. But, the show did run
smoothly there was enough power for everything, PA, Computer, and
all my gear (Emax II, ESi-32, OB-8, SY77, Juno 106, and Jupiter 8
plus effects and 2 mixers) However, when asked to come back again
this year I had to refuse. The sound of that generator was horrendous.

There isn't a list anymore. E-mu use to have an E-III list on their
website and most of those drives were compatible with the Emax II.
These are the drives I've had reported to me that definently work:

Quantum Maverick
Quantum Lightening 730 (the biggest drive someone from E-mu has
ever seen work),
Quantum ProDrive 210,
IBM WDS-380S (80mb)

Your quietest and best route IMHO is to get a Syquest drive. I've been
using an EZ135 for 5 years flawlessly and it's on a chain with an ESi-
32 as well. You can get them on E-bay for pretty cheap since Syquest
went belly up.

Remember to keep it a drive 540Mb and it seems that drives under
200Mb are most likely to be compatible.
