It might be impossible to do that because 2GB drives are post-Emax area.

But here's just an idea, you never know:
Have you tried to create an empty Emax-II Hard disk image with EMXP 
(either 96, 239 or 632 MB) and then restore this image to your 2GB hard 
disk using your PC ?
The hard disk images created by EMXP are "logically formatted EMAX-II-
ready partitions".
It probably won't work but you never know, maybe the Emax-II will 
accept the disk with this image on it...

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
