If I understand this correctly, my Emax HDSE is doing something very similar. The last couple of gigs it has not wanted to read the operating system. It powers up, but the usual start up noises are very slow, and it won't read the discs or something. I need to bring it home and read the LCD and post. It has been very unnerving trying to get it functioning at a gig. I have had to turn it on/off many times until it reads properly and starts functioning. I'm looking into getting an es-4000 rack for samles and getting an Alesis ion as my second keyboard controller. I will post with the error message I'm encountering. Maybe someone can help me and critico1. -Alan --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, "Roland S-50" <rolands50@...> wrote: > > Hmm...
