Yes, its an emax 2, sorry about the verbage. hehe I cant get past picking format disk, it gives me the error on "bird run", and a few other choices it say " different software rev. " I formated the disk with EMXP, and I have a question about that. Can I use the EM1/EB1 format directly in the EMAX 2, or do I need to use the converter in EMXP to change it to a EM2/EB2? I format the disk in EMXP, then when I try to copy a an image to the floppy, it stops after a second and says " this disk is most likely not formatted to the specified sampler format" ( I made sure to specify EMAX 2 at the beginig) Sorry to be such an newb. I have an internal HD ( scsi quantum/apple 250mb set as scsi1, but it keeps saying its not an emax disk when I use drive select to chose it, the person I bought it from said it was set up as an emax disk already with sample banks pre installed.) go figure. Thanks! PS - My day job is IT, you can get deeper technically if need be. hehe --- esynthesist <esynthesist@...> wrote: > Hi there, welcome in the wonderful EMAX world ! > > So you have an EMAX 2 SE.
