My Emax Plus rack is a strange one... The label says the Model type is "E-Rack". And (I think I'm the winner here :-) the Serial Number is 002 !! I always found this a very strange Emax Plus: the front panel clearly mentions that it is a Plus SE version (it's originally printed on the front) and the inside boards are indeed plus boards. But the machine didn't contain an external SCSI connector (I added one myself) and the modeltype on the label is simply "e-rack". The guy who sold it to me said it was one of the very first Plus versions on the European market and it was sold to an - at that time - very important music studio in Belgium which was using it for dance/techno recordings (Technotronic...) I posted two pics of this Emax in the photo section. I'll also check the serials of my other emax samplers. ///E-Synthesist --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, "Chip" <xtr909x@...> wrote: > > who has the lower emax serial number in this forum? > > i have a model 1000 (keyboard, plain purchased), serial number 2047 > (i'm not home right now but i think that's the number, at leas the > first two digits) > and a 1010 model (keyboard, hd inside from factory), serial number > 1281020. > > The last number doesn't make sense (if only 3000+ emax was produced), > but i'm just curious about the history of my emax > > cheers > > chip >
