So I have a Baldwin IKE (Emax keyboard clone). In the past, I bought an Emax Rack that was dead off ebay, and I stole the PALs and EPROM out of it to make my Baldwin IKE SCSI. I was going to try and revive the rack. But the Echip is dead. So it is toast. Prior to finally determining the rack was dead, and working with Rob at Emulator Archive, to try and make a SCSI upgrade available again, I have found the following out that MAY be helpful to some. If you have IP379a at IC 49 and IP345c at IC 26 with a rev C board, then it appears that all you need is the 5380 SCSI controller, and an EPROM with SCSI capability. If anyone wishes to verify they have those ICs I can burn the SCSI capable EPROM for $10/each plus shipping. For people who may need the SCSI IC- the price will vary depending on how many I would need to buy.... but I believe I can get them. Or you could try and source them yourself. I still haven't been able to make PALs yet for a complete kit, but I am still working on it. Soon I may have for sale- A set of SCSI IC's (a complete set - the 2 PALs, EPROM, and a 5380). An IDE compact flash with SCSI to IDE converter ALSO- I have gotten 5 floppy converters that allow you to put a slim / laptop floppy in the emax on top of the CF or zip drive. They would be pre-modified and tested. $10/each includes shipping to anywhere in US. You just have to make brackets- however I am considering making some brackets if there was interest and selling the converter and mount brackets as a kit for a bit more. Members- please let me know if any of you are interested in the results of these projects. Regards, Ted
