Re: Emax II Sampling, assigning keys, saving won't work, please help.

2008-11-17 by pauldays1

Hello Dave,

I did go to EditAssignment, I select the primary Voice which is by
default in G1, now, i want to shift that whole voice/bank to a higher
octave because i need an octave lower, hence two banks on the keyboard.

I select the new Lo in the range and it prompts "illegal assignment",
also when I select the "Hi", it will only let me shift octaves inside
the original bank? The manual is very easy reading but it doesn't
explain.

Also again, I truncate the loop i select, but I cant save it. When I
exit the "Sample" Module, there is the loop without truncation. How
do I go from truncate directly to save preset.

THanks, and sorry for the trouble, i really am a newbie in Emax, LOL,
need help with Rolands...hollar. LOL
