The same rules apply that did before as per the SCSI upgrade docs at Emulator Archive- Instructions here: http://www.emulator archive.com/ assets/PDF/ Emax%20Plus% 20SCSI %20Retro% 20Instructions. pdf a rev 3 board will take the chips- no board mods..... a rev 2 board needs modified a rev1 cannot be upgraded. I have full Chipsets in stock. The cost of the kit is $50 USD + shipping. THIS SET DOES NOT INCLUDE A HARD DISK or the- but can be used with SCSI Zip, SCSI Compact Flash / SD, SCSI hard drive, etc. IDE CF works via an ACARD SCSI adapter..... This set does not include an "external SCSI adapter board", or external connector. To provide that would increase the cost of the kit. Each set of chips will be tested in my Emax to verify operation prior to shipping. Kit also includes: 28-pin socket for the EPROM and some connect wire for the mods that need to be made. HD-capable Emax OS disk (either SE or Non-SE) You will need- A SCSI drive A mounting plate (make one or a 5 1/4 to 3 1/2 in drive bay converter kit / rails may work for this purpose also. A power splitter - I am not including this as I have different reports as to whether this is needed for all emax. Soldering skills The PDF from Emulator Archive on how to do the modification. I need the following information from those ordering: Is your emax rev 2 or rev 3 (so I know whether I need to supply the socket) Is your emax SE or Non-SE? (So I supply you the right disk).
