The only way to get the samples out of the Emax format and onto a PC is over MIDI 
Sample Dump. Some programs for the PC are Sound Forge, Samplitude, and Awave. 
For the Mac there is Passport's Alchemy which you can actually use with a home built 
RS-422 cable in conjection with the serial port for fater transfers than SDS and Sound 
Designer (I think that's right).
