Re: More Emax fun!! I need to empty my RAM, but nothings happening.

Hello John,

Another Emax II bites the dust. The power supply has just died on my Emax II rack, in
addition to the output board fault I mentioned in one of my other posts :(
My Emax II rack has a daughter board fitted with 8mb of RAM.......may sound like a stupid
question, but could I use this daughter board/RAM in my 1mb Emax II keyboard?
Would it just be a case of fitting the daughter board in my keyboard, and away I go, or
would I need to perform any software trickery to get the keyboard to recognize the extra
RAM?.......If the RAM upgrade works I would be in a position to part out the rest of my
Emax II rack. I'm going to have to keep the floppy as a back-up, but the rest of the
components would be available.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Happy holidays!!

All the best

Dave
