Re: [emax] Re: Send sample from Mac via midi dump with C6 soft

2009-01-25 by cruising

Hello Alan,

It seems to be :
I just qwickly tried to send the same sample to the Emax 1 after it
had been OK with the EmaxII and I had the answer 'Not Enough free
memory in the emax".
So it seems to be possible to send samples to the Emax1 (I did not
tried again with a shorter sample or in an enpty bank :I was focusing
on the EmaxII for this time).

But I now have two new questions :

The first one is for the Emax1 :
- do we have only to send 12 bits to the Emax 1, or is it able to
receive and convert 16 bits files or others (14 or 8 bits...)

The second question is for the Emax II :
- Would it be possible to send complete EM2 Banks rather than samples
via midi dump ?
This would be great for "mac only" users that unfortunalty can't use
the EMXP soft...and don't no more have SCSI on their mac.

Thanks in advance from a "mac only" user...

P.s.; midi dump soft C6 is free and avaible for both Mac and PC at
the Electron support page ; http://www.elektron.se/support/
