RE: [emax] More samples for the Emax/Emaxll and stereo upgrade kits

Hi Rich....
If you need the E-mu Systems Stereo Upgrade Manual let me know off
list..rob@...
You'll need to find the ADC and DAC chips but not sure how you are going to
replicate the PAL?

Subject: [emax] More samples for the Emax/Emaxll and stereo upgrade kits

Hey all

As promised I have sourced every Emu factory Emax/Emaxll sample for
the 4 Elements of sound CDs from Hermann's site posted/linked here and
originally from Diego's old site, my old collection and various Emax
users over the last few years.

I have painstakingly researched and replaced all the missing and
corrupted ZD files with the correct and working samples and will be
posting them to the Route 66 site for individual downloads in the next
few weeks...it's just a matter of getting them uploaded now.

For the Emax ll users...I have also put all the samples back in order
of the respected Elements of sound CDs and burned them to ISO Emu Emax
ll formatted CDs so they can be used in a SCSI CD drive connected to
the Emax ll, I have made them available on the www.Route66studios.com
site under new products.

Keep in mind that CD 1 is all 1mg samples, CD 2 is all 2mg samples, CD
3 is all 4mg samples, and if you're lucky enough to have the 8mg Emax
ll turbo.CD 4 is all 8mg samples!

I am now working on the Emax ll stereo upgrade kits for those of us
who were not blessed with the stereo feature. I have a factory boxed
upgrade kit and I am duplicating and sourcing the ICs and parts, I may
need a few testers when the time comes.
