My MicroTech DPAI-SCSI (model number), also has PC25 in the serial, I think that is interesting as there is a PCD25 model... I wish I had a plethora of drives (tested or not), that I could test out, changing jumpers, etc. If anyone has any SCSI CF drives that did not work, I would be willing to look at them and see if there was a way to get them to work. After all, the more drives that are compatible the better off we are..... I have been biting the bullet and internally SCSI-ing up my samplers this week. (got a PCD47b and a bunch of 1G CF cards for my mpc2000xl, and an internal 9gig disk for my E64. my A5000 already has an internal drive, but I'll probably upgrade that soon to something quieter and maybe flash based, as it's a clunky old one that sounds like a jet taking off) The emax is the last to go, because scsiforsamplers.com didn't have a hot swappable flash drive that they said would work with it when I did my order, and for the $$ you pay there I wanted the exact best thing I can get. Maybe I should have just bought their basic CFcard SCSI device (only one slot and not hot swappable.. but if i can't hot swap anyway, then I guess that's about as good as I'll get.) Does anyone know if any of the PCD series readers will work with an emax? the scsiforsamplers.com compatibility sheet says no. There was a PCD-10 on ebay the other day that I would have grabbed if I thought it would work with the emax and I could have pulled the drive mechanism out of its case to mount into my emax. cool info on the CF cards, too. I have my eye out for them now in anticipation. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
