Re: [emax] Re: Emax II + E6400 + CF card reader = Awesome!

Julian-

Thanks for starting the database.

I dunno how you make a database in the group (haven't really had time
to figure it out either), I modified the record you had created, as I
assume it was based off my entry...

I will look at my IDE reader and provide details regarding that
tomorrow.

I think that it would be good to add another database for the known
working
CF / 5in1 adapters models that are known to work.
CF/SD/Transflash MMC cards model #s also....

Possible fields:
adapter or flash card
Compatible types / type of memory
Size
Model
Mfr

just a thought.
I have 4 items I could add to such a database as that.

Regards,
Ted

OK...

well if people are interested, I just made a simple database in the
group database section, where anyone who has had a working setup with a
SCSI flash reader/writer can put down the details of their drive.

I guess these fields are all we need...

Manufacturer
model number(full)
works with emax 1?
works with emax 2?
number of CFslots
number pf PC slots
other slots
internal/external connection

if anyone wants to contribute, but can't manage to get into the
database, then you can always reply to this mail with info for the
following fields and I'll put it in there for you.

I know a few people have talked about their installs here before, and
I'll try to go through the archives and find relevant posts with
relevant info I can put in as I have time.... the point of this is to
try and have all the info related to these installs in one simple place
so that it's easily accessed and easily found by anyone.
